As the last chapter on Abraham’s life is recorded,

his death provides an important pause to the reader. In the same

manner as any funeral setting, one’s passing causes us all to

remember again our own life’s clock. We will glean much wisdom

through Moses’ unique and divine perspective in regard to life’s

brevity, and how we might make every effort in faithfulness to God.

Like Abraham, may it be said that we gave all we have to

Christ.
