John 4:43-54 The axiom "seeing is believing" is one
which common sense proves usually to be merited. However, when John
wrote his Gospel account, he intended for his readers to "believe
that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you
may have life in His name" (John 20:31). In our current text of
study, people who see Jesus are blinded to His identity. Yet,
through faith in Christ, we read of a family coming to see and know
Jesus in a manner which forever changes them. For each of us, we
are called to faith in Christ; unless we come in this manner, we
will not see Him.
