Genesis 35 As Jacob's story in Genesis comes to a
close, we are reminded again of the great faithfulness of God in
his life. While God had promised to bring salvation to the world
through Jacob's descendants, we also discover that God brings
salvation to Jacob himself. Yet, this work of God in Jacob is not
instantaneous, but rather a process over time. Jacob's life is an
example of God's great work of sanctification, and He completes in
the life of every believer.
