Genesis 48:1-22 When committed intentionally and
under one's own strength, a person's final words and actions carry
great weight. Much attention is given to Jacob's final words and
acts in the closing chapters of Genesis. Scripture allows us the
privilege of pulling up a chair to his deathbed and witnessing this
emotional exchange with Joseph, his beloved son. Even as we
carefully consider these words, we are compelled to prepare our own
deathbed confessional to generations that will
follow.
