Genesis 34 Many would imply that the Bible is
outdated and irrelevant, unable to offer any evidence of hope to a
world that is spiraling in injustice and darkness. Simple religious
platitudes and positive proverbs cower in the face of evil. Yet,
this passage speaks not once of God, but emphasizes the depths of
man's depravity. Rather than simple answers to great evil, we are
witness again to our great need for a Savior. We are astounded
again at the faithful mercy of God to a people least
deserving.
