Genesis 46:28 - 47:31 Throughout the course of
human history, to say that God's people have been peculiar is a
gross understatement. They are the very possession of God, which
means that they must be distinctive in a world which is godless.
Distinctiveness, rather than relevance, is the very means by which
the gospel is promoted. As the people of God would make a momentous
move to Egypt, their peculiarity would become obvious. In the same
manner, even now believers are to have marks of distinction,
proving they are the possession of God.
