A promise of God in the Scriptures from which

believers obtain great hope is found in Paul’s letter to the

Romans. There, in the eighth chapter, we are assured that “in all

things” God is working to accomplish His glory and the good of

those who belong to Him. In our current passage of study, we find

this promise on display as God proves faithful and brings good even

from a troubled situation. In our own day, the promise of God is

certain that He will accomplish His good purposes…no matter what

the circumstances.
