While stories of human perseverance over even the

most insurmountable odds both abound and inspire, we also know that

there are many things that are beyond the scope of human ability.

However, our current text of study poses a question for which all

of Scripture attests an answer—Is anything too hard for the Lord?

As Abraham and Sarah discover, and as all who follow through faith

in Christ are reminded, nothing is impossible with God. What He

intends to accomplish, He will most certainly achieve. And in

Christ, what He intends to accomplish is more wonderful than we can

fathom.
