A discussion on Christian stewardship typically
centers upon a plea for money. However, a proper understanding of
the Bible's teaching on this subject reveals that God deserves and
demands not just a part of our lives, but all of our lives. This
passage explains why God demands not just a portion, but all of our
lives. It also provides insight into Abram's act of stewardship in
Genesis 14 (which we will study next week). God invites us to
relish in the wonders of His grace, but only if we are willing to
trade in our dreams for His.
