This chapter in Paul’s letter to the church at

Corinth is perhaps the most oft quoted in the entire Bible. While

it certainly has application for an explanation for love in a

marital relationship, it was written to help the church overcome

its besetting problems. From this chapter we discover the key to

conquering the issues in the local church that so often paralyze

its effectiveness for the gospel.
