Life is about keeping first things first. The

Church, like any person, must strive to keep first things first. We

have one job—to make disciples of Jesus Christ to the ends of the

earth (the Great Commission). That is shared by the church’s

message (the gospel). Therefore, every time the church gathers, the

gospel should be clearly heard. In our current text of study, the

Apostle Paul explains that the gospel is the most important message

as he provides a concise definition of the gospel.
