Off the Sidelines Acts 6:1-7 In this particular

passage, we are given what is perhaps the first instance in which

the church office of deacon is described. In commissioning these

men to fulfill this role within the church, God is also declaring

the mission to which He has called us all. May we gravely consider

God's call and joyfully serve His cause.
