1 Peter 5:1-11 As Peter closes his letter to his

readers, he supplies them with a list of exhortations by which they

may find power and hope for living in a cruel world. While this

life can and will be filled with harsh realities, we are reminded

of truths that will reinvigorate our purpose, guard our steps, and

embolden our resolve. We are not of this world and we are not here

by chance; for this we must be truly thankful.
