Genesis 39 There are few characters given us in
Scripture who exemplify integrity and perseverance greater than
that of Joseph. His principled living serves as a standard for any
who would seek to live a righteous life before God. Though his
difficulties and triumphs reach a greater acuteness than most, his
decisions in the most extreme of situations provide a pattern for
godly living. Yet, as is true of all biblical characters, we will
discover that Joseph's exemplar story is most notable because of
the introduction it will provide for Jesus Christ.
