Matthew 1:18-25 One popular song designates the

season as "the most wonderful time of the year." Yet, for many, the

celebration of Christmas is a painful reminder of anything but

that. Scripture's account of the events which preceded the very

first Christmas provide us with the wonder of God's salvation for

sinners in the coming of Jesus Christ. Even still, many missed this

event altogether. Joseph was nearly among them were it not for the

intervention of grace. May God's grace keep us from missing

Christmas.
