Matthew 26:17-19; Matthew 26:26-29 There are few
practices in all the history of the Church which are uniformly
observed in worship as that of The Lord's Supper. Yet, this is a
practice which has caused as much division as any other matter in
Church history. Without question, Jesus' command regarding the
regular remembrance of His sacrificial death by the taking of bread
and drink is exceedingly important. To properly understand this
important practice, we must grasp the context in which it is given.
Most assuredly, Jesus intends to bless His people by careful
attention to His supper.
