Genesis 3:15 As we ready ourselves for Christmas,

it is good of us to ponder again the wonders of Christ's first

coming. Jesus' birth, as described in the gospels of Matthew and

Luke, provides the very theme for which our worship is focused upon

during this season. However, as we read the Old Testament, written

before the Word became flesh in a lowly manger, we discover that

the coming of Christ has always been the centerpiece of Scripture.

A prophecy from the dawn of creation heralds the anticipation for

and the worth of this Jesus.
