Luke 2:1-7 Two-thousand years ago, the little town

of Bethlehem was flurried with much administrative, commercial, and

religious activity. Perhaps God's people had never been readier for

the appearing of their long-awaited Messiah. Yet, when Jesus Christ

came, nearly everyone missed Him altogether. Pressing matters would

blind them from the appearing of the King. Even now, most of us are

relentlessly busy with so many pursuits, especially in the

celebration of Christmas. May our bustle not keep us from

Christ.
